Support Packages
Free meet & greet
We meet in person over a coffee, tea or juice and have a chat about your hopes for your pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and about the services I offer. You can get a feel for who I am and what I do and decide within two weeks if I am the right doula for you.
Unlimited prenatal virtual support
I am available for a quick phone call or text support any time during your pregnancy. I may not answer immediately but I will usually get back to you within a day or two at the most. Ask questions, vent to a non-judgmental ear, ask for resources etc.

Birth plan
I have a template for us to create your birth plan together. We will go through every option that you may be offered and talk through the research and evidence behind common practices and policies and whether each option is right for you. I can help you understand your choices so you can make informed decisions about your labour, birth and immediate postpartum. This birth plan is then emailed to you and to my backup doula.
Note - it is not intended to be an official document or a regimented plan that you have to follow. Birth can be unpredictable and we go with the flow, but a birth plan helps me understand exactly what you want, and help you understand all of your options.
In-person birth support
I come to your home and support your labour through natural pain relief methods such as massage and accupressure, hold space for you and offer encouragement when needed. I can be as hands-on or hands-off as you want, and I can remind you of any breathing or other labour techniques you have learned. I also help with practical tasks such as getting food and drinks and keeping the space clean. I can help you judge when it is time to go to the hospital or I can assist with older siblings if you are having a homebirth. I try to make the space as peaceful as possible through lighting, sound and smell. After the baby is born I help protect the golden hour and I can offer breastfeeding support if needed, as well as cleaning up any messes from the birth.
Unlimited postpartum virtual support
I am available for a quick phone call or text support any time during your first three months postpartum. I may not answer immediately but I will usually get back to you within a day or two at the most. Ask questions, vent to a non-judgmental ear, ask for resources etc. I can also offer practitioner recommendations if needed such as lactation consultants and chiropractors.
Discounted rates for additional services
If you engage my doula support you get a discount on placenta encapsulation, birth pool hire and mother's blessing ceremonies. You also get a HUGE discount on birth photography, and you get my Labour Techniques For Couples private class for FREE if you book the Premium Support package.
Postpartum visit
I visit you in your home for up to two hours and we do a birth debrief which involves talking through the details of your birth and starting to process some of the emotions and changes that have happened. I offer breastfeeding support and help troubleshoot any issues that may be present. I can also help with any domestic duties that need to be done such as hanging washing, chopping vegetabes for dinner, vacuuming or holding the baby while you shower. The Basic Support package includes one postpartum visit and the Premium Support package includes two.
Antenatal meeting
If you book the Premium Support package we will have two antenatal meetings, one of which will include a thorough birth plan and extensive holistic health information and resources, and the other will be the Labour Techniques for Couples class, which is a private class in your home where I will teach you skills to help you in pregnancy, labour and birth, and I will also teach your partner what to do and say, and what NOT to do and say, so they feel confident to support you too. If you book the Basic Support package we will have one antenatal meeting which includes a birth plan and some labour techniques.
